I was inspired by the frame in the Annual Inspirations on page 60 and from ones I saw at my team meeting and at a Gathering by another consultant. I used the Yuletide Carol WOTG. The only stamping was "Merry Christmas" and the pinecones with the evergreens. These stamps come from the WOTG. I added a little bling with the red shimmer tape, gold sequins, and bitty sparkles. The bitty sparkles were attached on top of each nail where the stockings are hung. Now, the only thing left is to find the perfect photo to attach.
I know that I do have many people who read my blog, but I never have any comments and I only have one follower. I'd like a little love to know if anyone cares to read this or not. It would mean a lot to me to have some followers and to know if you like what you read. I'm going to have a little contest here. Follow my blog and write a comment saying "I am following" and answering this question: My favorite Christmas cookie is . . . I will have a random drawing and the winner will receive the new Pixie Extra Thick Twine from the Seasonal Expressions and your choice of either Honey Triangles or Silver Geometric Washi Tape. The extra thick twine and the wash tape are great to embellish your cards or scrapbook pages. Here's a couple examples of how I've used them.
If you also join my Facebook page at Diane Bradner - Close To My Heart Independent Consultant, you will be entered in the contest twice. If you already are a follower, you are already entered.
This card has the Flaxen Extra Thick Twine. You can win the Pixie color.
I like to decorate the inside of my cards with washi tape on the side or at the bottom. You can win the Honey Triangles or Silver Geometric pattern washi tape. These are just samples of how I've used washi tape. Check the Annual Inspirations on p. 173 to see the designs that you can win.
The drawing will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 23rd. This will be a nice Christmas gift to one of my followers, however, you will probably receive it a little after Christmas. This should be fun! Good luck!
