Cards Made in May

     This past month I was busy making cards for my groups to make.  Everyone enjoyed making these cards.  This was the first month of the NEW Seasonal Expressions 2 catalog.  There are so many pretty papers and fun stamps to use.

These two cards use the stamp set "One Year Older."  The top card is a shaker card made with the Shaker Thin Cuts and Gold Loose Sequins.  The bottom card is made in the same way, however, it is flat with no shaker items involved.  Both make a nice birthday card.  The top card is made using Craft On paper.  The Sapphire and Apple Red card has some Zoe paper behind the gift packages.  Zoe is a special this month.  It is from the Bring Back My Pack special and ends on Friday at 10:59 pm (PDT).

The above "Your Turning 21" card was made for my niece when she turned 21 this month.  This is another example of how to use the One Year Older stamp set.  It includes all of the numbers to use for any age.  The paper, again, is from the Craft On Paper Packet.  This light blue cardstock is Carolina, one of the new colors for 2018-2019.

 The card on the left is from the Thinking of You Workshop Your Way Card Kit.  I followed the card directions except I changed the Sugarplum cardstock to Sugarplum Glitter Paper.  I also used the Sugarplum Shimmer Brush to color the little berries on the wreath.  This is a great set to purchase.  You get a stamp set, 2 sheets of paper, cardstock, and 12 cards and envelopes.  This is a great way to start if you are new to card making.  The paper is from the True Love Paper Packet.

This card is also made using the True Love Paper Packet.  I designed the card using one of Close To My Heart's pattern books -- Make It From Your Heart, Vol. 4, Pattern 13.  I turned the banner sideways so that more of the Lace Thin Cut would show.

The stamped images are from the May Stamp of the Month (SOTM).  It's a great one!  There is only one more day to get the SOTM titled "To My Bestie."  This is a great one to use when sending a card to a friend.  It has some great sentiments such as "Happy birthday", "Celebrate",  "Best Friends", "I could not ask for a better friend", as well as other sentiments.  Go to my website at www.dianebradner.ctmh.com to order your stamp set for $18.95 or only $5 with an order of $50 or more.
